Since 2002, Dr. Kenneth Richter has worked for the University of Guanajuato in central Mexico, first as a language teacher and then later as an associate professor in the language department’s second language teacher education program (la Licenciatura en la Enseñanza de Inglés). He holds a doctorate in applied linguistics from the University of Memphis. The majority of his publications have to do with issues concerning teacher beliefs, practice and development. He is currently enjoying a leave of absence from the University of Guanajuato and is working in Argentina as an English Language Fellow through a grant from the U.S. Department of State.

Ricardo Medel has worked as an English teacher for the past 11 years at a number of public and private educational institutions, including la Universidad Santa Fe, la Universidad de Guanajuato, and el Instituto Tecnológico Superior de Guanajuato. His main area of research interest is language assessment and evaluation.
